Today's Something New features a new snack from Keebler. The new snacks are called Gripz. Gripz are packs of mini Chips Deluxe about the size of a pencil eraser. Each 0.9 oz pack holds plenty of pieces of cookie. The packs are about the size of packs of sunflower seeds or peanuts you see in the checkout line at the grocery store. They kind of taste like your eating cookie crumbs instead of those other mini cookies you can buy. There is nothing really special about these except for the fact that they are really tiny. They're not easier to eat and if anything if you are driving and eating these, the odds are you will spill these more than the other mini cookies. Each box holds 9 packs of "crumbs" and costs around $2.50. I would only really buy these again if they were on sale or cheaper than any of the other cookies.

Today's something new is the new Rockstar Energy Drink. This stuff is around $2 and comes in a pretty large can. It advertises on the can "Double Strength" , "Double Size" and it also says,"Party like a rockstar." I can officially say that this drink did not make me feel like I was partying like a rockstar. Now, I have had Red Bull, Amp, and Full Throttle. I have felt some sort of effect from each one. From wide awake to just a little jittery, but Rockstar gave me nothing. I honestly don't think I felt any effect whatsoever from this drink. I guess party like a rockstar means you just burp alot from the carbonation. Now, maybe by drinking more than one you might feel something, but one can is 16 oz. I know I don't drink 2 and a half cans of coke(12 oz.) at a time and I don't think I could drink 32 oz. of this stuff without feeling sick. The taste is not that great. It tastes like a bad Red Bull. I think the taste alone would cause me to not drink 2 cans of this stuff. This drink also comes in diet, which I really don't understand. In conclusion, if you want an energy kick, drink a couple of Red Bulls or drink a cup of coffee. Don't waste 2 bucks a can for Rockstar.

Today's something new is somewhat of a two parter. First, I have never played around with a Sony PSP. None of the stores have demos out and since they are $250, not many people have them. I got the chance to play a game on it today while someone was borrowing it. It is a pretty cool device. The screen is plenty big and really nice. It has quite a few buttons and even an analog stick for familiar PS play. I would like to see what one of the PSP movies and other games look like. I still don't know if I would dish out $250 bucks for it though.
The second part of the something new was the game I played, Ape Escape. Out of all of the games available for the PSP, I don't know why the game the owner bought was Ape Escape. You play this anime character who runs around with a net trying to catch monkeys. Brilliant idea! no its not. I can imagine that if the developer was targeting 5 year olds for this game then they have succeeded. But for me, lame. I definately would not recommend this game.

My first something new of the blog! New Manwich Heat and Serve! I love sloppy joes. Who doesn't? I saw this at the store and had to buy it. I like eating sloppy joes but I don't like taking the time to cook em. Put some of this in a bowl, stick it in the microwave, and in about 2 minutes you have hot sloppy joe goodness. As far as the taste is concerned, I prefer my "homemade" joes. The heat and serve isnt bad, but I just prefer my own. This is a good altenative though if your ever in the mood for sloppys and just dont feel like dirtying up a pan.
